The New Jersey Tactical Officers Association (NJTOA) has been established to advance the education and professionalism of law enforcement officers involved in tactical operations through the transfer of ideas and information sharing related to tactics and techniques and to further improve the networking of departments and personnel involved in critical incident/high risk operations.
We would like to welcome you to the New Jersey Tactical Officers Association and wish everyone a happy and safe 2010.
On September 14-15, 2010, the NJTOA in conjunction with Edison Township Police Department co-hosting the 2010 New Jersey Tactical Officers Association Training Symposium in Edison New Jersey.
Many of you attended our first training conference held at FDU in June 09'. Those who attended witnessed the excellent job the Conference Committee did putting together an outstanding two-days of training. Approximately 150 officers from Jersey and surrounding states participated in courses such as Less-Lethal and NFDD Instructor, TEMS, Shield Ops and Physical Conditioning. Well we have to tell you that we are ready to put together another outstanding program for you; the tactical operators.
In closing, we encourage those who are not yet members to join us and participate in our association and help make it the greatest state association. To our current members we apologize for any shortcomings you may have had in your expectations with our association. We can tell you that we have regrouped and will be swinging fast and hard to not only meet, but exceed our goals for 2010.
We look forward to training with you and having you part of our association and always Stay Safe.
Yours in training,
NJTOA Executive Board
